I love what I do because it is a challenge! It is extremely rewarding to understand both the local and “bigger picture” issues and thereby help people achieve better function.
Julie completed her BSc Physiotherapy degree at Brunel University in 1995. She worked in the NHS for six years, gaining invaluable experience with the rehabilitation of patients with orthopaedic and diverse musculoskeletal issues.
Julie began working in the private sector in 2001, joining the team at Weybridge and Walton Physiotherapy in 2006.
Julie has a special interest in treating spinal, pelvis and lower quadrant conditions as well as those requiring post operative rehabilitation. She uses a combination of manual therapy and musculoskeletal acupuncture (where appropriate) to promote healing, resolve symptoms and improve mobility. Also implementing strength and conditioning exercises to help improve function through the involved regions with the aim of preventing recurrences.
She teaches Pilates having trained with the APPI, is a member of The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and The Association of Foot and Ankle Physiotherapists (AFAP) and has completed the ‘Thoracic Ring Approach & Integrated Systems Model for Disability and Pain’ series.
Julie’s other passion is immersing herself in the great outdoors with a particular love of being on or in the water.
“Julie was very attentive and helped me to understand how I had got into the state I was in and more importantly how to get out of it, through exercise and supports.”

"From the reception staff to the physiotherapists themselves, they are all professional, knowledgeable and caring. This is a superb physio centre where the patient is always put first. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of physio treatment."
